When worry or hardship weighs on you.
لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَوَاتِ، وَرَبُّ الأَرْضِ، وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ
Allah alone deserves worship, the Magnificent, the Forbearing. Allah alone deserves worship, Lord of the mighty Throne. Allah alone deserves worship, Lord of the heavens, of the earth and of the noble Throne.
In brief: The Prophet ﷺ used to say this in distress.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ، وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ، وَالْجُبْنِ وَالْبُخْلِ، وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ، وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allah, shelter me from anxiety and sorrow, inability and idleness, fearfulness and stinginess, crushing debt and the domination of people.
In brief: The Prophet ﷺ sought refuge from worry, grief, helplessness, laziness, cowardice, miserliness, debt and being overpowered.
وَذَا ٱلنُّونِ إِذ ذَّهَبَ مُغَـٰضِبًا فَظَنَّ أَن لَّن نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادَىٰ فِى ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ أَن لَّآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنتَ سُبْحَـٰنَكَ إِنِّى كُنتُ مِنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ
And [mention] the man of the fish [i.e., Jonah], when he went off in anger[899] and thought that We would not decree [anything] upon him.[900] And he called out within the darknesses,[901] "There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers."

In brief: The Prophet ﷺ said that Allah answers a Muslim who supplicates with these words about anything.
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلاَ تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
Allah, I place my hope in Your mercy. Do not leave me to myself even for a blink. Set all my affairs right; only You deserve worship.
In brief: The Prophet ﷺ taught these words as the supplications of someone in distress.
