99. Az-Zalzalaالزلزلة

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا١1

   When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake

   Listen from ayah 1
2. وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا٢2

   And the earth discharges its burdens^[1962]

   Listen from ayah 2
3. وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ مَا لَهَا٣3

   And man says,^[1963] "What is [wrong] with it?" -

   Listen from ayah 3
4. يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا٤4

   That Day, it will report its news

   Listen from ayah 4
5. بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا٥5

   Because your Lord has inspired [i.e., commanded] it.

   Listen from ayah 5
6. يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَـٰلَهُمْ٦6

   That Day, the people will depart^[1964] separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds.

7. فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُۥ٧7

   So whoever does an atom's weight^[1965] of good will see it,

   Listen from ayah 7
8. وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُۥ٨8

   And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it.
