Two short du'as as you step out of the door.
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ لاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّةَ إِلاَّ بِاللَّهِ
With Allah's name, I entrust myself to Allah. All ability and strength depend on Allah.
In brief: The report says the person is guided, sufficed and protected, and devils withdraw.
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِلَّ أَوْ أُضَلَّ أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ أَوْ أَظْلِمَ أَوْ أُظْلَمَ أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُجْهَلَ عَلَىَّ
Allah, shelter me from straying or being led astray, slipping or being made to slip, wronging others or being wronged, acting foolishly or being treated foolishly.
In brief: Umm Salamah reported that the Prophet ﷺ said this when leaving her home.
